There are two different soup bases to choose from - one being the oh-so-popular Mala Soup Base and the other a clear chicken broth. Both soup bases provides an excellent choice for cooking of your choice of meat, such as pork, chicken and beef in. Other steamboat staples such as cheese balls, luncheon meat, taupok, fritters are also available.
As for sauces, you’ll get the regular spread of sesame oil, soy sauce and condiments like minced garlic, scallions and coriander. We recommend following their instructions to create the one and only Guo Ma house mix - a mix of all the sauces available, done in a certain order. Dipping pipping hot sliced beef into this sauce really hits the spot.
The buffet includes a variety of soft drinks you can choose from, but we highly recommend that you choose the Honey Lemon Plum drink, a drink that is sweet, tangy, and super addictive, and bound to have you asking for more.
You can also treat yourself to sweets after your meal, with ice jelly or pudding available to bring a sweet end to your perfectly sumptuous meal.

If you’re looking for authentic Korean cuisine that can get quite expensive in Singapore, Myeong Dong BBQ starts at SGD$7/pax. It is opened by a Korean couple that decided to take a piece of Korea to JB.
This restaurant takes you away not only on a culinary adventure to Korea with Korean food staples such as kimchi, Bulgogi, tteokbokki and jja jang myeon (RM9.90/~S$3). The restaurant does not serve beef for the buffet package, but you will be equally marvelled by the well-marinated selection of pork and chicken (with unexpected flavours such as green tea and herb).
Many of us will be acquainted with the regulars such as Pork and Chicken marinated in Garlic Wine, but Myeong Dong BBQ has a hidden treasure in their Green Tea Pork. The bittersweet green tea flavour is nicely infused into the meats without being too overwhelming and leaving a pleasant after taste.
