Since July 2022, ferry services have been operating between Singapore and Desaru Coast. Batamfast, the ferry service provider, offers one return trip every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
There are plans for Batamfast to consider adding more trips in the future to meet demand, especially during public holidays when more travelers are expected.

Upon reaching Johor Bahru, you can take the most economical option: a direct bus operated by Causeway Link Causeway Link which costs RM15 (one-way) and takes about 90 minutes to reach Desaru.
